The Lounge at County South has launched a new Business Lounge experience for professionals needing a productive and comfortable space on campus.

New for Lent Term 2025, the Business Lounge will be open every weekday, from 8.30am to 2pm, to kick-start the workday as a quiet place to work, network with university colleagues, and host small, non-private breakfast and lunch meetings.

Free from the distractions of a crowded café or noisy office, the Business Lounge provides a welcoming place for productivity with access to Wi-Fi, power outlets, and refreshments.

Breakfast in the Business Lounge

Between 8.30am - 10.30am, Business Lounge customers can access a self-serve breakfast including cooked pastries, fresh fruit, other continental breakfast items, and hot drinks from the coffee machine.

Business Lounge breakfast bookings can be made using a cost code online, up to 48 hours in advance, using the Spoonfed portal. Last minute bookings can be made in The Marketplace using a debit or Eat Card only on the day of booking.

Lunch in the Business Lounge

A grazing platter lunch is served to customers who have pre-ordered their choice on the Spoonfed portal, 48 hours before their trip to the Business Lounge Lunch.

Lunch bookings can only be made using the Spoonfed portal and not on the same day of visiting.

Please note, when using the Business Lounge on the same day of booking, payment cannot be made by a cost code. The Marketplace can only accept debit or Eat Card payments.
