Emily Gorman
Senior Research Associate in Dynamical Modelling of Spoken Language, PhD studentThesis Outline
My research uses articulatory data to test predictions of Articulatory Phonology. Specifically, my thesis uses electromagnetic articulography (EMA) to examine patterns of lateral cluster timing, and the relationship between spatial and temporal variation in lateral clusters across dialects of British English.
