Hackademia 2025 is Lancaster University's student run cyber security conference. The event welcome participants of all backgrounds, students or professionals - whether with an information security background or not! Anyone and everyone can come and learn.
Hackademia 2025 is Lancaster University's student run cyber security conference. Taking place for the second year, the conference is being delivered by LUHack, Lancaster University’s Ethical Hacking Society.
With three tracks, workshops and capacity for over 200 attendees, the event welcome participants of all backgrounds, regardless of whether you're a student or professional with an information security background or not. The aim is to create an open space to promote learning about cyber security in an event that involves the wider infosec community.
Delivered by LUHack, the society run weekly sessions about cyber security, ranging from talks by industry professionals, to workshops and Capture The Flag competitions with other universities. LUHack sessions sessions attract as many as 100 people at times and ensures a vibrant community for attendees.
