Year 2 of DiSH activities complete

Almost unbelievably, the second year of DiSH has just completed in May and what a year its been. The target activities for the consortium as a whole have been smashed with some excellent work in building and supporting the cyber security eco system across Greater Manchester. As lead academic partner, Lancaster has led and collaborated on some amazing activities. Over the course of year 2 we have staged 29 events with 875 attendees, upskilled over 350 individuals, delivered over 25 hours of business mentoring and offered business support to Voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) across a range of activities.

Cyber Fundamentals For VCSEs

Delivered by Lancaster, the Cyber Fundamentals for VCSEs have been delivered across the Greater Manchester boroughs. To date, we have delivered cyber security introduction sessions in Stockport, Tameside, Rochdale, Bolton, Wigan, Manchester North, Central, South and Salford.
