As the end of term approaches, the Green Lancaster team are putting in place ‘Don’t Ditch It’ project donation points across the colleges. Students are invited to donate unwanted household goods for distribution to a large network of charities and for upcycling via the ECOShop on campus.

From Friday 2^nd to Friday 16^th December 2022, donate your clean and sorted household goods from the list below.

Please donate:

• Clothing and Bedding (please use clear recycling bags at the donation point)
• Kitchenware (ensure this is washed and in working condition)
• Non-perishable food (sealed packets and tins only)
• Books, stationery, and electrical items
• Household storage items such as coat hangers

Please do not donate the following items:

• Open food packets or perishables such as fresh food
• Open bathroom products
• General waste or recyclable materials (please use external bin stores across campus)

You can donate unwanted household items to your closest donation crate which will be in the Study Room in County Main
