Mid-Autumn Festival 2022

On Thursday 22nd September 2022, Lancaster University Confucius Institute hosted Mid-Autumn Festival activities in The Roundhouse. It was a great way to welcome staff and students to campus for the new academic year.
The afternoon started with a welcome from Professor Jinghan Zeng, Director of Lancaster University Confucius Institute. Then our new teacher, Li Ying, performed Chinese tea ceremonies. Approximately 100 people came to sample the variety of Chinese tea and mooncakes. Alongside this, people learned how to make Chinese paper lanterns to use as decorations. Whilst the activities were taking place, there was Chinese music playing in the background.
For the final activity, the team brought everybody together by playing a group quiz. The group had great fun answering questions related to China and Mid-Autumn Festival.
