The Lancaster University Confucius Institute team would like to like to wish all students and staff a warm welcome for the start of the new academic year.

This week the team have run a variety of activities for to welcome new students onto campus, activities included: Chinese board game sessions where students learned how to play Mahjong and Chinese chess.

We also held a dumpling making session in The Roundhouse where students were given the opportunity to learn how to make dumplings and take the recipe home with them. Many people across campus came throughout the afternoon to sample the delicious dumplings made by the team.

On Friday, our Teaching Lead, Jocelin Zhou, had a stall in the library to introduce our new Lancaster Chinese Friendship programme for students on campus.
