Light Up Lancaster is an annual event held at the beginning of November with various light installations and activities across Lancaster. On Saturday 5^th November 2022, the Lancaster University Confucius Institute team held an arts and crafts Chinese stall in St Nicholas Arcades as part of Light Up Lancaster. Members of the community came to the stall to try Chinese calligraphy and lantern making.

One of our teachers, Leo Zhenglang Chen, joined Ludas Youth Dance Company’s WeRave which was choreographed with Night People, to perform a rave show in Lancaster City Centre multiple times during the festival, which drew crowds of people to watch and participate too.
