Lancaster University Confucius Institute would like to say a big congratulations to our Dragon Boat Team 2022 for all their hard work and dedication at the North-West Confucius Institutes’ Dragon Boat Race on Sunday 15 May. We are proud to say that we came SECOND! 😊 There was a split-second difference between first and second place with Edge Hill just taking the lead. Considering that many of our team had never paddled before, this is a huge triumph – well done!

Dave, from Preston Dragons, who coached our team during the practice session said: “They did ace, they should be really proud of themselves, and tell them that too”.

It was nice to see everybody have fun and the great team spirit. Thank you very much to everybody who volunteered to join the Lancaster University Confucius Institute Dragon Boat Team, and also to everybody who came to support our team and cheer us on!
