Summer Term: Children of Lancaster University employees and students: £33 per child. General Public: £55 per child.Event Details
Sundays, 10am-12pm at Lancaster University Confucius Institute (The Roundhouse).
The children will have a one hour Chinese language class and one hour for Chinese arts and crafts activities.
Beginner and advanced classes available.

From 27 April to 13 July 2025 (11 classes)
Please note that the classes will not take place on 1 June 2025 due to the school half term holidays.
We ask that parents/carers of children aged 7 and under stay in The Roundhouse during the classes.
Refreshments are available in the Roundhouse kitchen and the Confucius Institute Resource Centre (room A02) is available as a quiet space.
Optional Chinese food tasting sessions
After the classes, there is the option to join the Chinese food tasting sessions.
These sessions take place from 12.00pm in The Roundhouse kitchen.
The cost for the food tasting session is £10 per family (maximum 4 people) per week.

Please note that the food tasting sessions are only open to members of the Lancaster Chinese weekend classes for children.
Registration for the food tasting sessions will close at 12.00pm on the Thursday prior to the session.
