Sundays, 10am-12pm at Lancaster University Confucius Institute (The Roundhouse).

For all children age 5-11 years old

The children will have a one hour Chinese language class and one hour for Chinese arts and crafts activities.

Beginner and advanced classes available.

Please note that there will be no classes on Sunday 27 October 2024 due to the school half term holidays.

We ask that parents/carers of children aged 7 and under stay in The Roundhouse during the classes.

Refreshments are available in the Roundhouse kitchen and the Confucius Institute Resource Centre (room A02) is available as a quiet space.

Optional Chinese food tasting sessions:

The optional Chinese food tasting sessions are open to families attending the Lancaster Chinese weekend classes for children only.

The food tasting sessions will take place each week after class at 12pm in The Roundhouse kitchen.

Please note that registration will close at midday on the Thursday prior to the food tasting session that week.

GCSE Chinese preparation group:

The group is open to anybody interested in taking GCSE Chinese as an opportunity to practice exam style questions and past papers as a group.

The group will meet on Sundays, 11am-12pm at Lancaster University Confucius Institute from 6 October to 15 December 2024.
