Guest Bedrooms undergo upgrades to improve the self-catered experience for guests
Lancaster University Guest Bedrooms provide on-campus accommodation for those visiting for academic purposes, attending an event on campus, or simply exploring the city of Lancaster.
80 ensuite Guest Bedrooms comprising twin, single, and double rooms are available to visitors on Lancaster University’s Bailrigg Campus during term time, rising to 1000 during vacation periods.
As well as double, twin, and single bedrooms, groups of over ten people can also choose to stay in a fully equipped flat with self-catering amenities.
The self-catered Guest Bedrooms, named Croasdale, have recently undergone a refurbishment, which involved the installation of brand-new kitchens and upgraded double beds in the accommodation block.
Guest Bedrooms Manager, Emma Nichols, said:
“The modern and functional kitchen facilities will enhance the self-catered experience for guests, offering a comfortable and convenient space for cooking and dining during a stay in Guest Bedrooms.”
Facilities in each Guest Bedroom include a desk, wardrobe, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, towels, linen, tea and coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi available across the campus. Guests are also welcome to use facilities on campus, such as Sport Lancaster’s fitness facility, laundrettes, bars and restaurants, and other amenities.
The Bed & Breakfast option includes a full English buffet-style and/or continental breakfast, served a 2-minute walk from Guest Bedrooms each morning at The Marketplace.
