The central frame for the complete visualisation of this text is the 'Argosian Wharfs' which serve as the first location in which Conan's journey begins. The topology of this visualisation highlights the separation of the exploits and action undertaken during the journey and those that occur at the destination, forming two main journey loops (with a minor third involving a leg around 'the Coasts of Zingara'). A number of secondary diversions are shown through toporef loops, as the unknown land is explored through various steps and incidents. 'The Song of Belit' is not as central a node as found in the syuzhet map, and it is the coder's decision to treat action aboard separate ships as distinct frames that provides the primary connection between the topological loops. Thus 'The Argus' serves as the means of the initial journey before the joining of fortunes aboard 'The Tigress' leads to the second stage of adventure. The progression between these two ships (via the 'Sea Battle aboard' frames) shows the clear steps by which the narrative advances.
