The Cartmel family...
All students in Cartmel College are part of the Junior Common Room (JCR). The JCR Executive (or 'Exec') are the body of students who are elected by you to be the voice of students in the College. They also organise numerous charity and social events, including the annual Winter Ball, days out, film nights, and the summer Extrav.

We're here for you throughout your time at Lancaster. We have a team of Welfare Officers and College Advisors who are here to support you and offer support and guidance. You can also access the University counselling team, and other support services via ASK.

Financial Support
Each year, we offer Travel Awards to our students to help fund travel to an event that will make you more employable. We also have a small number of hardship loans available if you are struggling for money, and can advise you on where best to go for further financial support.
Financial SupportEvents and activities
There are loads of events you can get involved with throughout the year, from sporting events and bar sports to inter-college competitions including the Sustainability Challenge and Inter-College Quiz.
