I am interested in a broad range of topics related to speech. In my PhD project, I investigate dynamic articulatory/acoustic properties in L1 Japanese speakers' production of English liquids using ultrasound tongue imaging.
Research Grants
My PhD research has been funded by the Graduate Scholarship for Degree Seeking Students by the Japan Student Services Organisation (JASSO; 2020-2023) and a research grant by the Murata Science Foundation (2022-2023).
