The Africa Research Hub established in October 2023 is a cross disciplinary research network at Lancaster University made up of academics and practitioners with any interest and passion in African countries and the African continent.

It is a pivotal initiative dedicated to advancing academic research, fostering community engagement, and promoting the development of partnerships. The Hub will provide a platform for international and interdisciplinary research, engagement and education initiatives as well as an opportunity for networking and ongoing knowledge exchange.

Through partnerships and collaborative work, we also aim to support the Lancaster University Strategic Plan 2021-2026, and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals to achieve transformational change.
