Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) hosted an online roundtable, as a Gender Equality Observatory (GEO) event, focusing on advancing gender equality in business and management Schools.

During the roundtable event, speakers from the GEO Network presented a range of interventions developed to tackle gender inequalities in their schools. These presentations led to a lively discussion between presenters and attendees from business schools across Europe, North America, and Asia.

They discussed the internal and external challenges and enablers faced during the development and implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in their schools. The roundtable also gave the attendees an opportunity to explore lessons learned on integrating gender equality planning into organisational strategy and practice.

The EU-funded Horizon2020 project (Transparent And Resilient Gender Equality Through Integrated Monitoring Planning and Implementation) set up the GEO Network to share knowledge regarding the advancement of Gender Equality and monitoring the implementation of GEPs in business and management schools.

The founding network members include Athens University of Economics and Business, LUMS, Stockholm School of Economics, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the American University of Beirut.
