PARTY TIME

 

Christmas Parties will take place on Tuesday 12th December.  The times for the parties are:

  Baby Room 10.00am until 11.00am

  Crèches 10.45am until 12.45am

  Nurseries & Pre-Schools 10.30am until 1.00pm
 

Children's Entertainer Harvey Rush will be at the Pre-School & Nursery children parties. All the children will be invited to visit Father Christmas in his grotto!

If you wish to order a party lunch box for your child please advise the office and pay £1.90 no later than Wednesday 6th December. If your child normally has a cooked lunch there is no need to order a party lunch box.

If your child does not normally attend a Tuesday morning it will be necessary for them to be accompanied by an adult throughout their party. Can we please request for parents bringing and staying with their child that they park in visitor spaces and not in the Pre-School lay-by to ensure that the lay-by is available for parents dropping off and collecting their children.
 


REINDEERS VISIT

 


The reindeers will be visiting the Pre-School on Friday 8th December between 11.30am and 1.30pm.


HANUKKAH

 


On Wednesday 13th December Tamsin (Dafna's mummy) will be visiting the Pre-School rooms to talk about the celebration of Hanukkah.  Tamsin will read a special story and bring some traditional Hanukkah celebration food for the children to taste.
 

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

 
 

On Thursday 14th December all staff and children are invited to wear their Christmas Jumpers, donating £1.00 to help raise money for Save the Children.
 


 

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

 

A traditional Christmas lunch will be served to the children who will be attending Pre-School on Thursday 14th December. 

If your child attends the morning session and does not have a cooked lunch and you wish for them to have one, please advise the office no later than Wednesday 6th December paying £1.90.


GINGERBREAD PLAY DOUGH

 
 

Make your own Gingerbread Playdough presented in a festive jar with a cutter and instructions.

Available from the reception for only £5.00 each.  

They make a lovely Christmas gift!


MARY’S KNITTING

 
 

The Nursery and Pre-School rooms will be performing this year's Christmas Play at the Nuffield Theatre on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th December at 4.pm.

Tickets are available from Thursday 30th November to purchase from the Pre-School office. (please note that there is a restriction of 2 tickets per family in the first instance).

If you have any queries please ask the staff in your child's room.

A DVD will be available to purchase featuring both performances.  Cost of a DVD is £8.00.

We would be grateful if you could please pre-order by completing the order form available from the office.


CINEMA VISIT

 

On Thursday 21st December the Nursery and Pre-School children will be visiting the campus cinema in the morning to watch an old favourite 'The Snowman'.

If your child does not attend the morning session on this day you may accompany them to the Cinema, please note that you are required to stay with them throughout the film.

Additional spaces are limited so please RSVP the office no later than 15th December to reserve your seats.


CENTRE CLOSURE

The Pre-School Centre will close at 5.30pm on Thursday 21st December for Christmas re-opening on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our parents and children a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukkah. 

We hope you have an enjoyable and peaceful break and look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year.
