I am a graduate in Biochemistry and Computer Science, and an experienced project manager from industry. Following a return to University for Ph.D., I now work at a leading UK management school as Senior Lecturer, with a specialist teaching focus into Project Management and Information Systems.

I am a Chartered Professional Fellow of the British Computer Society (CITP FBCS); a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute; a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA); a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE); and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).

I currently have research interests around the broad theme of Complex Systems Science, with specific focus on Operational Research of Health and Illness (Computational Biology, Bioinformatics and Medicine), and the Social Dynamics in Information Systems Projects (Computational Social Systems) that utilizes a Cybernetics perspective.
