Royal Musical Association SymposiumKeynote Speaker: Professor Nigel SimeoneThis Royal Musical Association Symposium at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts, Lancaster University, seeks to explore how notions of nostalgia and innovation influenced the French artistic climate from the fin-de-siècle until the end of the twentieth century. On this website you will find the call for papers, the timetable for the days, information about the keynote speaker, Professor Nigel Simeone, and accommodation suggestions, along with travel directions and maps of the University campus and Lancaster city centre. Event ExtendedDue to the exceptionally strong response to the call, this event will now take place across Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May.
