Family Study Space

The Library has opened a new family study space where users can go with their children to study.

Following on from our popular children's corner we have developed a larger family study space.

The space has been designed for users with children up to 12 years old in mind. It is an enclosed space to enable parents to work alongside their children knowing they will not disturb other users.

There is a range of furniture to allow adults and children to use the space in a variety of ways, along with a some toys and books.

The space can also be used if users would like a more discrete area for breast feeding than in the main Library and a comfortable chair has been purchased with this in mind.

We are very grateful for the Alumni funding which has made this possible and to the contribution from groups across campus especially the staff at the pre-school centre.

The family study room is on A floor in the Southwest corner of A floor. On the way to Archive Research Centre.
