Consultancy at Regional Teaching Partnerships
Programme Consultants are University staff members who work with Lancaster’s regional teaching partnerships to assist with quality assurance processes relating to programmes validated by the University. The role of Consultant is varied and the depth of involvement changes with the requirements of particular programmes and institutions. Programme Consultants are specialists bringing valuable expertise and experience. They have a key role in maintaining the academic standards and quality of programmes validated by Lancaster.

Programme consultants are required to write a mid-year and end of year report. The report templates for can be downloaded below.

The Academic Quality Standards and Conduct team organise Programme Consultancy as part of their work with the regional teaching partnerships.
Consultancy Fees and Expenses
Fees
Payments are made at two points in the academic year: the first third after receipt of the mid-year report; and the remaining two thirds after receipt of the end of year report.
Expenses
Internal Consultants should use the online Web Expenses page for all Travel Claims to and from the partner institutions.
External Consultants should complete a Travel Claim Form. This form should be completed in full and returned in hard-copy, with all associated tickets or receipts to:
